People often prefer tea or coffee over water because it gives them a quick boost when their energy is low. But are they really the best option ? 

Water delivers the fluids that your body needs to function properly and aids in good circulation, digestion and absorption of nutrients. Health professionals say that children and teenagers should consume between 1.7 to 3.3 litres a day, differing with age, gender and activity.

Water does not contain the caffeine or chemicals that tea and coffee do therefore is better for your body. Caffeine and chemicals can become addicting if consumed regularly and disrupt your sleep along with possibly causing anxiety, digestive issues, muscle breakdown, high blood pressure, and fatigue. 

In conclusion, water is much better for your body and is a better alternative to tea and coffee.

Interpersonal influence on food refers to the way in which individuals are influenced by their friends or classmates on what they eat.


Personal influences on food refers to the way in which an individual is influenced by their preferences, knowledge, family etc on what they eat.


It is important that when we are influenced societally, interpersonally and personally that we know what the best food choices are for us and are educated on health so we can be sure we are getting the correct nutrients that our body requires.
